1. Improved Volume Calculations: Cut/Fill Estimates


Stockpile volume calculations just got better! We've introduced new methods for stockpile volume calculations giving you not just the stockpile volume estimate, but also the cut (above surface) and fill (below surface) values.

2. Volume Calculations: Best Fit vs Lowest Point Method


Now choose between best fit vs lowest point method to calculate stockpile volumes.

The best fit method is typically useful for calculating stockpiles on a flat surface with all edges clearly visible. The lowest point method is useful for pits and stockpiles against a wall without a visible base.

We will be covering this in more detail in an upcoming article.




3. Improved 3D Measurements


We've improved the usability of our 3D measurements. Now freely edit points, lines and polygons as you are drawing and get a measurement estimate as you draw along.

This feature is now available on all plans with 3D models.


4. Introducing 3D Comments!


If a picture is a worth a thousand words, how much are 3D models + comments worth?


We've added the ability for you to comment on 3D models on all our plans, you can seamlessly share information about your site or asset across your teams.



Using 3D comments, you can track all issues with your site or asset and progressively resolve them as actions get taken.

1. Terrain Follow in All Mission Types


We've introduced terrain follow mode in all our mission types! Moreover, you can now use terrain follow on Android in an offline mode i.e. all the terrain data is cached locally in case you wish to change your flight plan on site!

2. Wind Turbine Inspections - New Flight Modes!


Introducing a new flight mode in our Android app, specifically built for wind turbine inspections! Now position your turbine at the 12'o clock position and inspect the top blade fully automated.

3. Improved Data Verification


We've made a number of improvements to our data verification feature so that you can be sure you do not leave site without perfect data! This feature now also be used with our new wind turbine inspection mode.
