Get the right Overlap with Ground Offset
A common challenge in roof inspections is the offset from the ground, which impacts the total overlap in your images.
With Hammer Missions, you have the ability to input the ground offset (building height). Once input, Hammer will automatically calculate the image overlap using this offset so that you can focus other critical parts of your operations.
Use Constant Orientation for Easy Post-Processing
It's important that your drone maintains a constant orientation during the flight for easy post processing. It's very hard to analyze your images if they are changing orientation all the time!

With Hammer, the drone can maintain a constant orientation throughout the roof inspection mission.

Tackle
L-Shaped Roofs
L-shaped roofs can be particularly challenging.
The majority of flight planning software will lead you to overflying (flying over the grid instead of the 'L') if you come across an L-shaped roof.

This leads to excessive flying and we know how important drone battery life is. Once again, this is not an issue with Hammer's roof inspection mission as it is purpose-built for this task.
