What's New in Hammer Missions | March 2023 Product Update

Hammer Hub 🖥

1. 4D Models

4D Models are finally here at Hammer Missions! But what exactly is 4D drone data?

4D allows you to compare your 3D models over a set timeline.

That means if you have 3D mapped the same asset many times for a client or stakeholder, perhaps to give a progress report or check for defects, you can now line those models up and compare them all from the comfort of your browser!

Note - 4D Models are currently available on our Enterprise Plan only. Please speak to us to learn more.

2. Unique Annotation Numbers on PDF Reports

PDF reports created directly from your projects are now uniquely numbered, making it easier for you to refer to specific annotation or comment from the PDF report.

For more information on our automatic reporting tool, please see the link below:

3. Uploaded Images - Now Ordered by Timestamp

Gone are the days of your images being uploaded in random order, images are now uploaded by timestamp!

That means your pictures will now upload as you shot them in the field giving you the ability to know when and where your shots fall in your project.

4. .OBJ and .XYZ Exports - Now available on Cruise Plan

You are now able to export both .OBJ and .XYZ in Hammer Missions giving you the ability to export and subsequently import your 3D model into 3rd party CAD or design software for further processing!

1. DJI M30 Support

DJI's brand-new flagship drone the M30 is now supported by our high-quality flight planning.

The new versatile platform has an amazing array of features including an IP 55 weather rating, 41-minute flight time, self-heating batteries, two different camera options, a new controller with a large screen, and a host more.

2. Network RTK support

Hammer Missions has supported RTK for a while but our Android app now also supports network RTK on M300 and M3 drones!

For more information on RTK see our post:

3. Fly-To-Draw

Fly to draw is now fully implemented on the Android platform giving you the ability to, as the title say, fly-to-draw!

Fly to draw enables you to use the drone to mark the points on your map as opposed to manually inputting these points when you are planning your mission in the Hammer Hub!

Very handy for vertical missions such as tower mapping and facade inspection.

4. Fix For App Login

We have now implemented a fix that was causing login issues for some smart controllers.

If you are still affected by this issue, please get in touch with us at team@hammermissions.com

Summary

And that’s it for this release! If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our enterprise solutions, please do reach out to us. We look forward to hearing from you.
