Improved PDF Report Format! 📝
Over the past few months, our team has been busy providing enhanced functionality to our PDF reports that lets you quickly and efficiently share pertinent information with your clients
Reports now allow for deficiencies and existing conditions to be summarised in a table with links.
Findings Summary Table There are also cropped images showing each deficiency independently with tag numbers to uniquely identify each deficiency!

Create your own AI Models 🤖
We have also been working hard on optimising and improving AI for condition assessment. You can now use your existing datasets to train AI models in your private account in Hammer Missions! Curious how this works in practice? Check out our video below:
Note: AI is currently only available on Enterprise plan, contact us to learn more
Foundation AI Models 🤖 (Coming Soon!)
We are pleased to share our team is also working on an upcoming new release of "AI Foundation Models", which will help to streamline your workflows, by providing 'pre-defined' AI Models of specific deficiencies.
We hope to release the new AI Foundation Model functionality soon, please use the section at the bottom of this article to subscribe to our regular newsletter of updates
Deficiency Quantification 📏📐
Having successfully run your AI model against your data analysis project, you can use the Deficiency Quantification function to calculate key metrics regarding the identified defects!
Using Deficiency Quantification in Hammer Missions For each defect item, you are provided with information regarding their total number, those identified by human, those identified by AI, the square area represented by those defects and what percentage (in terms of square area) do those defects represent of the overall.
The "Download CSV" function, allows you to export the information in CSV format for further analysis and the "Recalculate" function allows you to re-run the analysis and generate new metrics when you have annotated defects in additional images.
3D Building Outline Workflow 🚁
There are situations where online maps do not accurately reflect the reality on the ground (typically newly constructed buildings or temporary obstructions may not show via online maps such as Mapbox or Google Maps). For situations like this we provide our 3D Building outline function and workflow.
Using this function, the Pilot opens the Hammer App and takes off manually. With the drone in the air, the Pilot navigates to each boundary point of the building and 'drops a marker'. Once all boundary points of the building have been marked the Hammer app generates a 3D building outline, which can then be used to generate the Flight Plan.

3D Building Outlines can also be copied from one flight mission to another as long as the flight mission is in the same area.
AirData UAV Integration

We understand the time pressures that Drone Pilots are often under to complete missions and we also recognise that maintaining flight log information is a requirement of many Aviation Regulators around the world.
In order to reduce help reduce the administrative burden on Pilots, we have introduced integration with AirData UAV that lets flight logs be easily exported directly to your AirData UAV account.
All you need is your AirData Auto Upload Token (which can be found under the Flight Retrieval section of your Airdata Account
Identifying your AirData UAV Auto Upload Token With your token information available, ensure you have a working internet wifi connection, then access the Hammer App on your RC or Tablet device. Next, access the drone configuration settings via the cog icon in panel on the right. Input your Airdata Auto Upload Token into the window that appears and your flight logs will be synchronised to your AirData UAV Account

Improved RTK Integration ☀️
We have recently carried out comprehensive tests based on the Hammer Mission's Android app and DJI's Mavic 3 Enterprise drone, to ensure smooth integration of DJI's RTK-2 High Precision GNSS Mobile station.
Enhanced Telemetry - High Wind and GPS Signal Alerts
We have provided additional integration on our Android app to display in flight alerts to the Pilot for high wind situations or low GPS conditions, allowing the Pilot to take appropriate action in these situations.
In-Flight Strong Winds Alert Message The Android app now also provides a clicker sound to ensure the pilot is always aware as photos are being taken. 📸
