How to Force Stop the DJI Pilot 2 App on Smart Controllers | Hammer Missions

Overview

In this short tutorial, we will be looking at how to force-stop the DJI Pilot 2 App on DJI smart controllers to enable you to use Hammer Missions

Tutorial

1: Once your smart controller has booted up you should be presented with the DJI Pilot 2 screen.

2: Tap the physical back button on your controller (situated on the left-hand side) until you get to the applications screen. Double-click if necessary.

3: Now select settings from the applications screen shown below in red

4: With settings open select Apps & Notifications, highlighted below in red.

5: Now Apps & Notifications is open you will see recent apps, the most recent app will be DJI Pilot 2. Select See All ** Apps as highlighted below in red.

6: You will now see all active apps, select DJI Pilot 2 shown in red below

7: Now this is open you can force-stop the application

8: You will be presented with a message, press OK

9: Now press the back icon in the top left-hand corner and repeat until the back button is no longer available.

10: When you reach the screen below, double-tap the physical back button on your controller

11: This will take you back to the main applications screen and now you can select Hammer Missions from the main screen.

We highly recommend force stopping both apps (DJI Pilot 2 and Hammer Missions) before launching Hammer Missions.

12: Open the application and you will see a message regarding closing the DJI Pilot 2 app, as long as you have already filled these steps you can ignore this message by pressing OK

13: The Hammer App will now open and you can fly your mission!
