Hammer Missions has long been awaiting the opportunity to integrate a highly capable, sub 250g drone into our fleet of supported platforms and today we’re celebrating the addition of the DJI Mini 4 Pro. This addition brings a wealth of opportunities for our customers to conduct capture missions with much greater operational and regulatory freedom as well as reduced risk.

Unfolded, the DJI Mini 4 Pro measures approximately 30 x 37 x 10cm and with its extremely light weight it faces fewer regulatory hurdles, making it more accessible for many use-cases.

To use the DJI Mini 4 Pro, you’ll need the RC-N2 or RC-N3 controller a suitable Android device (we recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ series).


Setup Guide for Hammer Missions & DJI Mini 4 Pro


Using the DJI Mini 4 Pro with Hammer Missions involves a straightforward setup process:

  1. Register the Drone: Set up and register the DJI Mini 4 Pro using the DJI Fly app.

  2. Setup Hammer Missions: Install the Hammer Missions app on your device.

Flight Tips for Using the DJI Mini 4 Pro



When flying the DJI Mini 4 Pro with Hammer Missions, keep these tips in mind:


  • Avoid Windy Conditions: Do not fly in strong winds! We cannot stress this enough.

  • Ensure Good Connectivity: Avoid areas with low connectivity to prevent signal loss.



Capturing Datasets


The DJI Mini 4 Pro excels in capturing high-quality building inspection datasets with minimal effort. Here are some examples:
