Syncing Missions Between Hub and App in Hammer Missions

Planning your mission in Hammer Hub is a key part of the process but how do you then transfer that mission over to the app so that you can action your flight in the field?

In this article we are going to take you through the process of transferring your planned mission from the Hammer Hub over to the Hammer App and how we reverse that process for when you make changes in the field.

Hammer Hub

1. Plan your mission in the Hammer Hub. Further information on planning your mission can be found on our extensive Mission Tutorials page.

2. Once you have planned your mission and you are happy to proceed you can now sync that mission with the Hammer App

3. To sync your Mission select 'Send To App' in the top right hand corner of the Hammer Hub page, highlighted here in red.

4. You will be presented with a new window with instructions on how to send the data to the app, for future reference this is screen is only for information. Synchronisation will be performed on the app from now on as you will see later in the tutorial.

1. Open the Hammer App on your tablet, in this example we already have some uploaded missions and a mission folder.

2. From this screen tap the cloud icon at the top of the screen to synchronise your data from Hammer Hub.

3. Data from the Hammer Hub will now download and become available on the App, for example here we have downloaded the new mission - Lateral Capture, as seen in the earlier part of the tutorial. Note, it can take a moment for the sync to occur

5. Now the data has synced you can open the file and execute the mission as was originally planned in Hammer Hub

Synchronising Your Field Missions Back to Hammer Hub

You can also Sync individual missions backwards to the Hammer Hub, so if you make changes in the field these will be reflected when you go back to the Hub

1. To do this highlight the mission you want to sync back to the Hub by tapping on it once

2. You will see that there are now two 'cloud' options, from here by using the cloud with the up arrow, highlighted here in red, we can sync the changes we have made back to the Hammer Hub

3. You can now see that changes the we made in the App have now synchronised with Hammer Hub

And that is how you synchronise your missions with Hammer Hub
