Overview
DJI's latest edition to the Matrice series - the DJI M300 is poised to be the next industrial drone workhorse, but how do we connect and control the DJI M300 from third party applications such as Hammer Missions?
We break it down below.
Steps
Connect to the drone to the smart enterprise controller shipped with the drone.
Now, connect the smart enterprise controller to an external iPad using the USB port in the top right corner of the controller, and an iPad USB cable.
3. Once the USB port is connected to the external iPad, the built-in display would show a prompt saying 'External Device connected' indicating that the control has been passed on the external device.
Note: Please try to use a regular USB cable for the connection (USB-C cables are reported to have connection issues)
4. Launch Hammer Missions on the iPad and you're good to go!
5. Pro Tip: To securely mount your iPad on top of the smart enterprise controller, we recommend using a tablet mounting kit as shown below.
